QI is going back to 25-man raiding. After stomping through T11 as a 10-man raid, we want to go back to the format we started as, and the one that most of us prefer. We will likely be PuG'ing some slot until our roster is filled out. We need pretty much everything right now, so if you know anyone who wants in on some raiding goodness, and is looking for a home with a bunch of great people, send them our way. More info after the break.

So... We're in Blackwing Descent tonight. We had a small issue with healers being unavailable for the beginning of raid. Some glitchs and hiccups that made the night look bleak. And then, bam we downed Atramedes right before we had to call it a night. Great job by everyone in striving to get us further along in progression.
Oh, and on the first trash pull. This dropped: [Maldo's Sword Cane], giving Sarkside an upgrade for his mainhand.
Atramedes dropped: [Battleplate of Ancient Kings] and [Gloves of Cacophony]

So on our first night with a ten man group, we went and killed two baddies and moved our guild further along in progression. Thanks for all the hard work from everyone in the guild to help us accomplish this goal, and for the understanding of those who weren't in the raid tonight.

On vent and in guild chat...
The call went out...
"Come to Vashj'ir, I've found a really big rare spawn whale. It only has 30 million hit points..."
Quite quickly, a troop of seven guildmates was formed. We all rushed to Vashj'ir where Karmak was waiting on an alternate character, he quickly logged out and switched over... Then, some horde members showed up. We launched a volley of attacks on Mobus, where no one was ready, the tank wasn't quite there... Luckily, we did manage to tag the behemoth in order that we would get credit for killing the beast.
Devilish, tricky, deceitful hordies... They flagged themselves and hugged the tank (Flufulupigas), thereby flagging both the tank and the healer and quickly killing poor Miralee before we realized what had happened. With that, Snuffles blew cooldowns and did everything he could to prolong his life. Alas, he was not able to stay up until we could arrange heals for him.
The foul hordies then had what they were hoping for. Mobus reset and they tagged it quickly while we were still recovering. However, there was one fatal flaw in their grand scheme...
They were now flagged!!
With a loud battleshout and a cry for vengeance we quickly and whole heartedly annihilated the foul horde members. Retaking control of the great whale. Then the battle was truly on. We fought bravely. We fought with all the might and strength that our group of seven could muster. We fought for a remarkably long time...
Finally, after refreshing cooldowns and several other tricks several times throughout the 17 minute fight, we slew Mobus and claimed his polearm [Mobus's Vile Halberd]

So... It's a few days late, but here are the screenshots from our Magmaw and Omnitron kills. Both were downed in a single night, we pressed on to get Maloriak down to ~40%. Since then, we've also taken on Halfus Wyrmbreaker, getting him down to 5% on two attempts. More to follow...

Our fine band of heroes challenged the Omnitron Defense System, and came away the victors! After several attempts, our group rallied it's strength and performed admirably as we finally struck the last blow and fell the Dark Iron Council.
